Ethekwini Living Legend:
Dawn Maduma Leppan

Every year for the past 10 years, Ethekwini has hosted a prestigious event called the Ethekwini Living Legends which allows the public to vote for someone who they believe is a true legend through the work that they have done for others in their lifetime.

In September 2017 we heard the news of Dawn Maduma Leppans nomination as one of the top Living Legends in the whole of Kwazulu – Natal. Along with the nomination, Dawn was awarded for her life long dedication to her community alongside others who have made an incredible difference including the likes of Mac Maharaj, Naledi Pandor and Vejay Ramlakan.
