Hamba Kahle Sister

It is with great sadness that our Sister Xaba passed away on the 8th of January after contracting covid. Due to many underlying issues, her body was not strong enough to fight any longer. We will miss her love, laughter, and care for the community. She was not only a nurse but a mother, a shoulder to cry on and a wonderful educator to those in our community. (She previously was a tutor to many aspiring young students at community health colleges).
It was a terrible shock to our 1000 Hills family and not how we expected to start the new year. However, we thank God for the time that we had with her and know that she will be looking down on us, encouraging us every step of the way. Hama Kahle Sister (Go Well)
