Doctor Sally continues to see many cases from within the community from gender-based violence, to disability grants. Here we see Doctor Sally with Henry who we have mentioned in previous newsletters, a well-recognized member of the community, Henry suffers from a mental disability from a very young age, as an accident that occurred in his childhood.
At 1000 Hills we treat everyone with love and kindness, no matter where they come from. Henry without fail, makes the journey to the centre every day for a hot cup of tea and a nutritious meal. We do what we can to help him, which includes things like helping him bath, giving him clean clothing and his monthly haircut. Every other day we give him a loaf of bread to take home which he shares with the local chickens.
