1000 Hills Community Helpers is a non-profit organization in the valley of 1000 Hills, Fredville, Inchanga. Founded in 1989 by Dawn "Maduma " Leppan, we have been established for 30 years and recognized by numerous large Companies including KFC ADD HOPE, LOTTO and featured on Carte Blanche.

We have a feeding scheme where we serve 1700 meals per day to the local community, an afterschool feeding scheme, Meals on Wheels trailer where we go out into the community to the sick and elderly as well as the local schools.

We have a preschool and creche which caters for 400 children from 3 months to Grade R. We have a Primary Health Care Clinic where we see up to 100 patients per clinic day including that of babies in our baby wellness clinic.

Skills development is an important part of what we do and this includes gardening, computer courses and sewing. Enabling many of our community members to find employment.

We would be honoured if a running club would consider us as their 2019/2020 charity. Unfortunately, our very own Patrick Mphemba was unable to enter this year's event for the COMRADES MARATHON. Pat who is one of our drivers is extremely passionate about sport and a very good athlete. His vision is to run for his community in the hopes that he can raise funds that are so desperately needed to run 1000 Hills Community Helpers.

We encourage people to visit our home of love, only then will you truly experience our organization and all it has to offer.
