To end with a story of hope…

We are truly surrounded by love and hope. This remarkable Gogo (aged 79) made the Journey to the Centre from her home today, walking in with two walking sticks!
She was in desperate need of a food parcel for her family. She shared with Maduma that her eyesight was no longer what it used to be. Luckily, our amazing Sister Karen has a box of reading glasses readily available in the Clinic and a suitable pair was found for her right there and then.
Through the amazing donations we have received, we were also able to give her a beautifully knitted knee blanket to take back home with her. There is a beautiful quote, 'for we walk by faith, not by sight'. Those words are so profound. Through all our amazing donors, we were able to meet her immediate need for food and some more.
