Clemont Camp Clean Up

23 September 2020 | Shannen Harte

1000 Hills Community Helpers cares about keeping our surrounding areas clean. Upon visiting Clemont Camp, we were saddened by the state of things. Litter scattered everywhere in and amongst home and the valley.

Not only a health risk but not a nice environment to be in for our children and even the local animals!

The cows and goats are eating the rubbish, in turn making them very sick.

Our children are also playing in and amongst the rubbish which of course is a huge health risk!

Through our efforts, we have begun "Project Cleanup" along with our local ladies who have volunteered to help in exchange for a food parcel.

We are in need of a refuse company who will be willing to collect the glass! Please contact us if you know of someone who can help!
