Our after-school-care programme plays an important part in who we are and what we do. We see up to 500 children per afternoon who come rushing into the centre for a warm meal, which is most often their only meal of the day.

Not only do we run a feeding scheme but we also assist the children with other needs including things like school uniforms, clothing, shoes and stationery. The local schools in the community do not have the funds to provide for these children, so we are the next best solution. These children solely rely on us. During school holidays we see about 1200 children who come to the centre for refuge. Recently with the addition of the safe park and sports field, we are able to keep the children safe and entertained through sport and recreational activities.
